So today's the first day of classes at college. Wish me luck!

It shouldn't be too bad, though. I've been in marching band camp for the last four days now, so I'm kinda in that school mood. It's universally accepted in our band that mandatory summer band camp is the worst part of marching band. But the worst part's behind me now. My classes are supposed to be pretty easy this year -- all except for Microbiology. It's had a reputation for being fairly tough, and I have to go to a lab for the class twice a week, three hours a session. Eeeesh. But I gotta do well here. I got C's on my last two science classes, and as a nursing major, that's not good. If I don't get an A or a high B on this class, I'm going to look long and hard into another major.

Ah, yes. Before I forget, I'm going to a concert on the 28th for my birthday. I'll probably need a bit of extra money to do so, so if anyone is willing to help, I'd be much obliged.
